Employee Benefit Strategist

Rachel is a well-respected strategist with 10 years of experience in the fields of HR, technology, business development and business consulting. Rachel began her career working with small employers in all aspects of HR, including payroll and insurance. Her time spent consulting for top insurance agencies in NC, VA, WV, KY, and TN provides Employee Benefit Advisors with a unique perspective and solid insight regarding healthcare reform and insurance trends.

After consulting with independent insurance agencies across the state of NC Rachel quickly realized that there was a need in the middle market to adopt new tools and methodologies to help clients control healthcare costs year round, not just at renewal time. Rachel works with clients to analyze their benefit plan and then design a plan of action to support their objectives for recruiting and retaining employees. She can easily pinpoint problematic areas that organizations face today, like over utilization of ER, and is armed with tools and a fantastic staff to address and minimize those problems. She is driven by a passion to help others.

Rachel is a member of NAHU and is always a student of the game, researching changes to ACA and keeping client compliance as a top priority.

Rachel is married and has three beautiful children (McKenna-6, Jackson-3, & Hadley-1) that keep her very busy!

Rachel earned her bachelors from SUNY Geneseo, an institution consistently named on Princeton Review’s Best Colleges List.

Why Rachel feels a client should work with EB Advisors?
